While the global pandemic has forced us to cancel our in-person summits in Boston, New York City, Chicago, Indianapolis, San Francisco, and Edinburg, Texas, it has also given us the opportunity to host this first-of-its-kind international virtual event!
The Health Advocacy Summit (HAS) connects and empowers young adults with chronic and rare conditions through meetings, events and programs. Our programming is meant to bring young adult patients together and ensure they have the support, opportunities, and resources they need to thrive.
For questions about accessibility or to request accommodations please contact us at virtual@healthadvocacysummit.org. You can also make accommodation requests when you register.
The HAS was founded in 2017 by Sneha Dave, a recent graduate of Indiana University, who has lived with severe ulcerative colitis since the age of six. Our organization is run entirely by young adults with chronic medical disabilities who are on a mission to connect and empower the next generation of patients through advocacy events and online programs.
